These terms apply to every order placed on purgostudio.com. Placing an order means accepting them.

The contract is formed when we send the dispatch email, not when you place the order. Until then, either of us can cancel and nothing is owed.

All prices are shown and charged in US Dollars (USD). Every price shown on the site is the price charged.

Sales tax is calculated at checkout, shown before you submit, and added where we are required to collect it.

Prices can change without notice, but never on an order already placed. If a price is wrong through an obvious error we will contact you before charging, and you can confirm or cancel.

Any promotion states its own end date, its own conditions and the products it covers on the page where it is offered. If none is stated, it applies to everything in stock and runs until we say otherwise.

One promotion code per order; codes do not stack. A code cannot be applied after an order is placed.

The free-shipping threshold of $75 is calculated after any discount is applied.

If a promotional order is returned, the refund is the amount actually paid, not the pre-discount price.

Stock figures on the site are accurate at the time the page loads and can be wrong by the time you check out. If something is unavailable after you have paid we refund that line in full within one business day and ship the rest.

Items marked low stock are the last few of that run. Materials are made in batches, and a batch that has sold out may return with slight differences in colour or figure, which is disclosed on the product page.

Every specification on this site — composition, dimensions, weight, surface, origin — is measured rather than estimated, and stated in the units it was measured in.

Photographs are of the actual items, lit plainly and not retouched beyond colour correction for screen. Because materials vary within a batch, the item you receive will differ slightly from the one photographed. Where that variation is significant it is described in words on the product page, because words are more reliable than a picture for this.

Everything sold here is an artists' material or a hand tool for studio use. It is sold for making pictures and objects, and nothing more than that is claimed for any of it.

Several items have edges, points or finishes that can injure careless handling, and none of them is a toy or suitable for unsupervised use by a child.

Our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. That does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

We are not liable for work damaged by a material used outside the guidance published on its own product page.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction.

Returns and anything about an order go through email — we authorise the return and send a prepaid label, so there is never anything to post to us unprompted.
